How did you attract/address your audience?

The audience would be attracted by the style of film as they would of seen similar before and would most likely enjoy this new addition to the genre. The film would also some intertextuality points to it so if they have seen other type films they would be able to enjoy some extra laughs.

The audience would be address as intelligent film goers as some jokes would be left up to them to make there own laughs as the use of innuendo and other such devices would be used.

The intertextual links which we have placed within the film such as; Road Trip, Superbad. These links allow the audience to relate to films which they have seen allowing them to find humour within the jokes which we would be mentioning.

Audiences which would be watching the films which we have referenced would perhaps be more likely to view our film because they would know the type of humour which they would enjoy, these intertextual links would allow us to get the more viewers.

With the buddy comedy style movie the audience would expect to see some friendly banter which would draw in some audience, as some viewers would want to see a film just because of the comedy which would come from the characters and what they would say.
Although we were not able to show the comedy lines which would would be used throughout the rest of the film as we were not able to show everything which could be shown within the rest of the film.


Adressing the audience would take place within the film, as they would be majorly talked to and about within the scenes which would be shown. The majority of addressing of the audience would be within the main part of the film, which would not be shown within what we would be showing. This means that addressing the audience in a full and extensive manor would be hard because they would not have much exposure to the characters and how they act and reactto eachother during the first 5 minutes of a film.

We would need to adress the audience within the first 5 minutes be showing the audience the characters and some locations in which the film will take place.
This would only work within the first 5 mintues because we needed to introduce the characters and the locations which was done by the the introduction of the plan through the voice over.
